Delphi has asked SVR members to bring their cars to a Delphi family day car show taking place September 13, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. They are looking for mod cars, stock cars, and go Karts. SVR show participants and their families will be able to partake in the family Day activities, along with 10,000 plus Delphi employees & families. Some of the activities include food tent, monster truck car crushing show, motorcycles trials show, technology test drives and plenty activities for children. All this is free for bringing your car and volunteering to help Delphi event staff throughout the day. This is a way of SVR giving back to Delphi for using Delphi lots to hold our solo events. A large portion of our club will be in Topeka, competing in the Solo nationals. So it is time for our other members to step up bring their cars and families for a fun filled day. A list of SVR participants and families need to be presented to Delphi by September 2. Please sign up by contacting David Siniff at 989-686-7629.

The site below allows you to create printable car numbers.  Print your numbers out at home and bring them to the event.  Its much better than shoe polish and the Timing/Scoring crew will thank you!

Street Tire Index- (STI) New for 2008 SVR will have an indexed Street Tire Class at all events. You will still complete your runs and work assignment with your regular class (example HS) but you will be able to run against other street tired cars on the SVR index. You will be scored in what ever class ( ex. HS or STI ) you register in and may not change after the begining of competition. We hope this will bring new competition for those on street tires while preserving the class structure and run work order.
